 West-MEC is leading the way with innovative programs for high school students in a wide variety of manufacturing, maintenance, and other key vocational fields. This bond will allow them to add other career cluster programs in construction, health sciences, and technology including programs and certifications for electrician, plumbing, medical assistant/nurse, surgical technician, medical imaging, cyber security, and much more.

With nearly 99% of students who complete the program earning credentials and over 90% positively engaged in employment, education, or the military, the return on investment extends beyond individual success of our local students to the broader economy.

 West-MEC offers career and technical education to 48,000 students from 49 high schools across the north and west valley through their innovative partnerships, four campuses, and career academy. Voting Yes on the bond will create new opportunities in the Northeast Valley, Peoria, and the Northwest Valley as well as expand existing campuses to allow students access to more programs closer to home.

  This bond program will allow West-MEC to increase its essential programs throughout the region without increasing the tax rate. This program is designed to make these critical investments while maintaining the overall property tax rate equal to the current rate – no tax rate increase.
